Saleem Technologies has been awarded $70,400 of COMET grant funding, to help it in the development of Track’em, a material tracking and management system.

The Track’em material tracking and material management system uses mobile computers, GPS and RFID or barcodes to manage and track building materials and equipment.

According to Kashif Saleem (CEO and Inventor of  Track’em), the Track’em system can help project developers finish construction projects on time and within budget.

Saleem Technologies claims Track’em is a systematic, efficient and cost-effective approach to material tracking, particularly suited for construction projects in the resources industry.

Track’em allows 24/7 monitoring of each piece of material or equipment, via RFID tags or barcodes attached to each piece of material or equipment.

The Commercialising Emergency Technologies funding will be used for strategic business plan development, market research, intellectual property strategy and working prototype development.
